Knowing where you are in the application process is important. There are two ways to check your application status depending on the role you applied to within the Company. Please review the information options below and follow the process that matches the corresponding role.
Hourly In-Store & Distribution Center Roles
Hourly In-Store & Distribution Center Roles include the following: Cashier, Customer Service/Sales Associate, Support Associate, Freight Associate, General Warehouse Associate, and more. To check the application status of an In-Store or Distribution Center role, please click the link below.
Salaried, Corporate, & Support Roles
Corporate & Support Roles including but not limited to the following positions: Asset Protection, Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager, Customer Service Representative, DC Area Supervisor or Manager position, Delivery Driver, Outside Sales & Service or PRO team position, or Store Support Center roles such as Administrative Assistant, Store & Supply Chain Operations, Marketing and Communications roles, Technology roles, and more. Home Depot offers associates Medical (full-time only), Dental, Vision ($120 plan coverage free to all associates), Medical Payment Plan, Spending Accounts (full-time only), Health Savings Account (full-time only), Critical Illness Insurance, Disability Coverage, Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance.
TIME OFF
Taking time off is important for your health, and Home Depot offers various benefits to support this for eligible associates.
Vacation
- Salaried associates: 2 weeks in the first year (1 week in Maine plus 1 week PTO)
- FT Hourly Associates: 40 hours after 6 months
- PT Hourly Associates: 20 hours after 6 months
- Temporary Associates: Not eligible unless required by law
Sick Time
- FT Hourly Associates: 4 hours per month or as required by law
- PT Hourly Associates: 2 hours per month or as required by law
- Temporary Associates: Eligible as per legal requirements
Disability
- Salaried and FT Hourly Associates: Eligible for short-term and long-term from the hire date
- PT Hourly Associates: Eligible for short-term from the hire date
- State Plans: Company benefits may be adjusted by state disability plans
Additional Benefits
- Paid Holidays: Six per year

Work Location
Onsite – An associate in an onsite role works in a specific Home Depot location in order to complete their job duties.
Multisite – An associate in a multisite role works from multiple locations (e.g. Home Depot location or a customer’s homes) to complete their job duties.
Hybrid – A hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual work locations. An associate will work from a designated Home Depot location on some days and remote/virtually on others.
Remote/virtual – An associate in a remote/virtual role does not have to be at a designated Home Depot location to complete their job duties.
