AIKEN, South Carolina George Frederick Brand 1946 — 2024 George Frederick Brand, 78, of Aiken, SC, formerly of Louisville, KY, passed away at home on April 5, 2024, from Mesothelioma. He was predeceased by his parents, George Sr. and Alberta Brand, and his stepson, David Goffinet. He is survived by his wife, Karen Davis Brand. When asked how long they had been married, George's favorite answer was, "not long enough." He is also survived by his children, Jonathan Brand and Alison Malone (Neil), stepson, Michael Goffinet, three grandsons and three great-granddaughters.
