The staff and the store are amazing but the whole digital coupon situation is horrible. The app is so horrible as well. Having to clip items then show the bar code, it’s so time consuming. I will not be shopping at any Albertsons anymore, prices are super expensive and now time consuming trying to save a dollar or two using the digital coupons.
Today while shopping in Albertsons, an employee saw me struggling with the several items I was trying to juggle/balance and she immediately asked if I needed a shopping cart-- and then she actually walked to the front of the store to get me the cart and she wheeled it all the way back to me. She was very kind by helping me out like that. Great job Mia! Keep it up. I hope you have a happy holiday season. Thanks again!
If you live around Irvine, I recommend shopping at this store. The interior is clean, the shelves are clear, there is in-store information where you can find what you are looking for easily. The payment point is not crowded. In addition, the vegetable section is incredibly fresh and the prices are almost the same as in other markets. There is an expensiveness to the city of Irvine. this is felt throughout every store of the city.
I was personally helped by a staff member named Ken, who went above and beyond to help me get a few holiday items last-minute. Im very happy I called in and got him on the phone. I was surprised and impressed by his level of service. Other staff members, such as George, were also helpful and created a great shopping experience. Much appreciated. Thanks!
Clean store. Decent selection of produce. Its definitely set up differently than other Albertsons supermarkets in the general area (not that there are that many to begin with). I came here later in the evening on a Sunday night, and there were only a handful of patrons. Most of the employees that I saw were stocking shelves. They do Friday deals, so check your weekly mailer to see whats worth coming here for.
This place is always super clean and super not-busy. The checkers are soooo friendly. Like Trader Joe’s friendly but not annoying.Prices everywhere are batsh*t bananas, not their fault. You can find decent deals if you take advantage of the coups. A+ good ol neighborly hometown grocery store.
This Albertsons is huge, clean, well stocked, and has an amazing variety of items. I was truly impressed. The aisles were wide and the selection of items is far superior to other grocery stores in the area. No self check out, but they had plenty of checker coverage. Ill need to go out of my way and shop here more often.
I stopped in for lunch. PJ is a nice man that works here, he was putting away shopping carts when he noticed an older woman fall in the parking lot. He rushed over to see if she was alright. I am an off duty EMT and after I briefly checked her for injury, with his help we lifted her back to her feet. PJ deserves the recognition for his actions, where many would just move along, his humanity shined through and his compassion was incredible.I would like to add that NONE of his actions would have potentially resulted in further injuring the woman. He was making sure she was OK and if she needed an ambulance at the time I made it over to them. I say this because big stores like Albertsons may condemn lending a hand to someone who falls, due to insurance reasons. He was very careful to not cross that boundary, and only assisted in helping her back up once I had cleared her OK, and at the time had made it clear I am a professional that just needed an extra man to help her up.Great work PJ, may God bless you!
The people working at this Albertsons are so friendly and assist us whenever they can. Also pleasant. The customers are awesome too! Sometimes my husband and I have difficulty getting an item and are so helpful. See there are good people in this world...in your own backyard.
The cashier started talking politics at me even though I asked him not to when he wouldnt stop. Im not here for that kind of talk. I just want my food and something light hearted at best. It was really uncomfortable. Ill be avoiding him from now on if I ever have to go back there again
I love this Albertsons! Very clean, well stocked, and all of the employees are so helpful, kind, and attentive! One employee went above and beyond. Johnathan in the meat department (butcher) is always so cheerful. One time I asked for a particular cut of chicken that wasnt in the display. He said there werent any out in the display, but he could check in the back. I told him not to worry and I picked up something else. About 5 minutes later he found me in another aisle of the store with the cut of chicken I had asked about and he took the other cut I had back with him. I have never had this type of experience with a non-commission employee before. Fabulous!
I had the best service from Nathan in the Meat and Seafood Department counter. He was so calm, friendly, and helpful. I never really get good service at meat counters, so Nathan was a pleasant surprise! He came right up unlike others that seem to try and ignore customers.
I stopped by to get some bread. But when I got in the store, I realized I wanted a lot of other things. I had a good shopping trip and now Im fully prepared for Memorial Day. The store wasnt crowded, most people were wearing masks in the store, and the checkout process was painless.
Its okay. As a chain, I find their prices are higher and their selection worse than Ralphs and their produces freshness is questionable at times. I do like their bakery and deli here though, great service from both those counters! I basically only come here when Im craving their chocolate chip cookies or tortilla chips, or want to avoid crowds as this store is tucked out of the way.
This is one of my favorite grocery stores. Its big and has plenty of great choices without being overwhelming. The meat department always has plenty of variety and the prices are fair. I particularly like the pub burgers which are really thick. There is a decent wine selection and their rewards system is worth signing up for because they send you coupons on things you buy but you dont have to clip them. You just click them and it puts them on your account.
Wow! whoever owns this Albertsons should be ashamed.. pathetic and disgusting owners selling expired rotten foods, salads and produce. Goes bad within days!! you open the sour cream and its smelly and bad. I got really sick from food in that place. Will only go if its a non food item and even then only if I absolutely have no time to run into another store. Great staff, great customer service... too bad they arent able to sell healthy unexpired products. Disgusting !!
The employees are super nice but their food is always expired and the produce selection is sad. Since it is a highly trafficked store, the lands can be long because they are short staff. Other then those highlights, its a normal grocery store and they have what you need.
We shopped here on 30 October and I wrote my review.Since then we have been dropping in almost daily. We shopped on 5,7,8,9 & today the 11th Nov 😊How is that for loyalty 🤔👍We drop in more due to contiguity to our residence than choice. We are to get back to Bothell WA in the 17 th Nov.I will see what Albertsons has to offer there ☝️
This is an upscale Albertsons. What I like about it most is that they have sooo many trees in their parking lot so it is easy to park in the shade. Even though this store is owned by the same company as Vons and Pavillions the gas station in the store parking lot does not honor the Vons Club Reward fuel loyalty points.

I live in orange and a flower arrangement at the local store $63.99 but since we were going to Irvine I did not want the flowers to be mistreated and I stopped at this store and Surprised the price of the same arrangement $74.99 and I bought it but the roses for the next day were all defoliating, they werent so fresh
After making my purchase. The cashier, Nick had let me know that my card was charged extra from another customers. When he refunded me the $72 refund to the wrong card, my food card they said it doesnt get back to me till 1-3 daysfrom now. Now for my money to go back to the correct card, he recharged my food card leaving less than $2 because the amount he refunded didnt go back instantly so he charged my current balance on my card, leaving my with $2 for food ...till I get my refund within 3 days? Then he refunds my debit card. Currently Im down a total of $76 dallors from both cards, a total of $152 gone for up to 3 days... I now have 72 less in my food card and 72 less on my debit card. I now have $2 for gas that I can hopefully work with for up to 3 days and $6.50 on my food card that suppose to last me up to 3 days till both refund come back to my card. A random customer left with free food that I got charged for and extra money in their pockets. While I leave with no money, and no place to stay for tonight. They couldnt even give me cash after the multiple different refunds. Also. Come to find out I was suppose to be refunded 76 instead of 72. So when the food card refund comes in, it will be $4-5 less than whats its suppose to be. Same with my debit card. So even after all the refunds, Ill be out $8. I tried to work with them but they left me with no options to help me out. I totally got screwed... I hope management sees this and hopefully can help me out with some food tomorrow if refund doesnt come in yet. I wish I never went to Albertsons...
Ok, so in terms of grocery stores this one is a grocery store. What does that even mean? It means that you can come here and buy food that you can go home and eat. You can cook it up real nice cause this place has nice stuff. My only complaint is that theyve had this one freezer which has been broken for like a year and rather then getting it fixed they just end up using some paper towels to soak up leaking water. It doesnt seem that clean, but I guess it saves some dollars!
This store has lousy serviceAnd from sinor personalWho run the deli name Hector was rude and unfriendly.....Check out clerk big white guy is rude and pushy.Treat like if in boot camp or somethingdont like service here at allIll keep my business with pavilion where there treat the people with respect
Horribly overpriced items, all the beer selection is stored way too warm, they just removed the self check out line so the lines are starting to get ridiculous. But the biggest thing is they overcharge for items. The new owners of this Albertsons are greedy and negligent.
Just another good Albertson location. But:1. For unknown reason store has remove all self-checkout stations. They claim that it has been done by all other Albertson stores too (not true).2. For the same reason theyve terminated honey wings (no info yet if it has been done by all other stores).
..BEAUTIFUL n nice Albertson supermarket, GREAT foods, fresh meats, produces, FRUITss are some looks good, **BUT eXcept 4their on SALE STRAWBERRIES on Mothers Day weekend buy 1 get 1 FREE.. were VERY..
